Anetra Cheatham | Learning Facilitator & Leadership Coach
Anetra Cheatham is an accomplished educational leader with over 20 years of experience in the field and currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Administration with the Beaumont Independent School District. Deeply committed to the belief that every student can achieve excellence, she is dedicated to creating and implementing high-quality educational opportunities and innovative practices that address the unique challenges of secondary education.
In her current role, Mrs. Cheatham draws upon her extensive background working at every level of K–12 education. She is focused on fostering a culture of continuous improvement and academic excellence. Her leadership is informed by a comprehensive understanding of and experience in school improvement, ensuring that strategies are both sustainable and tailored to the needs of each community.
Prior to her current appointment, Mrs. Cheatham held several key positions within the district. She has led schools at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, driving significant gains in student growth and post-secondary readiness, and expanded her impact as a regional instructional leadership manager with the Region 5 Education Service Center. In that capacity, she supported districts and campuses in building instructional practices through professional development, strategic planning, and coaching.
Her professional capacity is further enriched by her experience as a Leverage Leadership Institute alum from the Relay Graduate School of Education and through the Texas Instructional Leadership program.
